Our Founding Story
Two years ago, Evan Trinh and Isabelle Yoh saw a gap at Troy High School when it came to student-led exploration in dermatology. With a shared interest in skincare and medicine, they started Troy Dermatology Club with a small group of students who simply wanted to learn more.
From the start, the goal was to create a space where people felt comfortable asking questions and sharing their own concerns about skin health. That idea eventually turned into the blog we run today, where we continue to make information more approachable and relevant for students.
Since then, the club has grown into a larger community, though we are still continuing to build. What began as a slightly different mission from other clubs at Troy has stayed consistent, especially in our focus on giving back. Through fundraisers and outreach efforts, we hope to keep expanding our impact and support underserved communities in meaningful ways.
